Assimilation to diffsuion

Settled in a canal calm

Dripped slow to a river

Imbibed pace to a sea

Assimilations to oceans

Heed but an afterthought

Simplicity in its pristine awe

Unknown shores sailors dock

A pause before journey resumes

Desire to assimilate

Had treated unfair

Nights brighter than the days

Sprouts washed ashore nature reclaims

Canal’s bank relied for rest

Reprieve peace in that stil

Allured and choice to motion

A reliance now a concept unknown
