Your hum sparrow
As echo infinite
Hue of change
A fall finite
Humanly keeps abound
Leaps of faith beyond
A wait and prayer
Awake to hear again
Soon the frost will come
As leaves unfurl in earnest
Time will induce sprout
Beneath the ice hope preserved
The smile etched in memory
An effect surpassed
Dear forever the tune
Sparrow that you sang to me
