A dryness to I awoke
Reminiscing your craves
I so helplessly couldn't fill
A few been but so fresh
Surface frosted hard
Seed as plant yet stands
Its root you eternally warm
Branches that season each flourish anew
Simple yet apart
As endearing a soul
Words in haste I heard
Now reverberate meanings clear
Perseverance, faith you imparter
Sacred they my recourse
Your prayers a canopy cover
Beyond the spread of sky
A hero you, so missed and dear remain
